NVQ route to membership
ICES is working in partnership with the Accredited Assessment Centre for the Association of Building Engineers (ABE Assess), to offer NVQ routes for ICES Technical and full Membership. Please note that the NVQ Routes apply for Technical Member and full Member grades.

Please note:
Applicants using the NVQ 3 routes may apply on the basis of the NVQ alone and will be called for an informal interview to discuss their portfolio.
Applicants using the NVQ 4 routes may use the qualification in lieu of having a cognate degree, but will have to fulfill all other application requirements including signed-off ICES competencies.
