The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors North West & North Wales invites members and their work colleagues to the above seminar which qualifies for one hour of CPD.
The seminar will give an overview into the emerging technology that is drones, with a projected roadmap to the technology becoming autonomous. An outline agenda is as follows:
- Drones vs sensors
- The CAA (UK) and international regulations
- Flying drones within visual line of sight
- Beyond visual line of sight
- Technological requirements to flying autonomously
- Projected market integration to 2050

Speaker(s): Matthew Watt CEng MCInstCES. Matthew is the Account Manager on the AmeyVTOL Joint Venture and is working with several clients in order to develop the concept of operations for long range autonomous drones.
