CICES South East AGM 2020
CICES South East warmly invite members to attend its annual general meeting on 12th March 2020.
CICES Regional AGMs provide members with an opportunity to influence the work of the region and institution.
This is your opportunity to influence the work of the region and institution, give the committee your feedback and elect the new committee members for the coming year. The format includes the Chairman’s Report, Secretary’s Report and the election of the Regional Committee.
The AGM is intended to be a sociable evening which provides an opportunity to discuss how the institution and, in particular, the region can continue to grow and to hear members views.
Immediately following the AGM, there will be a CPD presentation – ‘Recent Developments in Digital Heritage’
Peter Lakin is a lecturer at the Building Crafts College in Stratford and until recently a senior lecturer at the University of East London. He is a member of the BIM4Heritage task group and the Council on the Training for Architechtural Conversation (COTAC). Over the last two years Peter has presented Keynote addresses at conferences and short courses in the UK, France, Tatarstan and Kyrgystan.
This presentation provides an insight into how BIM is being utilised by the heritage sector, through examples and case studies, as well as some of the projects being undertaken throughout the UK and beyond.
