Presentation on Lea Bridge Station Refurbishment by BPR Architects
Come and join us to learn about the relocation of the Lea Bridge Station project.
The South East committee warmly welcome you to this free event.
Details: London Borough of Waltham Forest are looking at the opportunity to deliver 300 homes, supported by commercial and retail use on land adjacent to Lea Bridge Station. The project requires the relocation of the Lea Bridge Station. BPR will demonstrate that by making use of their Station Place Concept, which they developed to support the Rail Delivery Group’s Vision for Stations, they are able to add value to the development by ensuring that the investment in rail infrastructure supports the local community and the wider Lea Valley Regeneration Strategy.
By defining the new station as a Civic Space, BPR have created a new focal point at the heart of the neighbourhood called Station Place, that supports both the station and local people throughout the day with an active retail frontage that serves into the public realm.
