Screening of Resilience Engineered: Episode 1
Screening and Q&A
Join CICES for an exclusive screening of Resilience Engineered, a three-part series from the Resilience Shift on some of the most pressing challenges associated with 21st century infrastructure systems development. Leading thinkers including Professor Lord Martin Rees, Sir John Kay, and Dame Judith Hackitt, as well as leaders from the primary engineering associations and city leaders, take part in this series of three short films that explain what resilience is, and why it matters.
CICES CEO Ann Allen MBE will introduce the short films, and each 25 minute screening will be followed by a 30 minute discussion of the issues raised.
Episode 1: Preparing for an Uncertain Future will provide viewers with a basis for engaging with uncertainty and complexity as meaningful concepts and how this can shape our thinking about the world around us, especially when considering the capability for infrastructure to serve both current needs and those of our future selves – and future generations.
A Teams invite will be sent on 18th October to all registered.
