Why use 50,000 words in your construction contract when 500 will do?

A presentation by Sarah Fox, the author of the 500-Word Contract™

Please join us for this free CPD event. The UK construction industry is plagued with standard form contracts which are regularly amended until they are fiendishly complex, paper-based and wholly one-sided. There is little evidence that they drive positive behaviours, foster collaboration or improve project success. So why bother? Why not create contracts that really do work for the parties, that don’t attempt to be watertight and that build trust?
Sarah Fox has worked with trade associations and micro-enterprises to help them create simple effective construction contracts, starting with just 500 words. In this talk she will explain why simple, digital, trust-based contracts are the future and how they can really help you safeguard your company without annoying your supply chain or clients.
