New CICES website

Welcome to the new website for the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

This platform has been developed to provide a comprehensive digital resource for professionals, students and related experts in our sector.

It will contain the most up-to-date documentation on policies, membership and our ongoing strategies, in a user-friendly format.

There will also be regularly updated news items and industry developments, plus a portal to the online versions of our regularly published CES Journal.

New features

An improved events calendar and database management system will make it even easier for members to book spaces online.

It will also highlight upcoming occasions, searchable by date, location and other relevant tags.

The member’s login area will contain individual information on membership, renewal dates, personal details and other applicable documentation.

And the updated ‘Learning Hub’ enables members to access a growing archive of useful content, compiled to support their ongoing career progression.

It will grow into an important resource for CICES members at all stages of their careers, for everything from current legislation to industry thought leadership.

A valuable asset

CICES president Andy Evans commented on the new website, saying:

‘I’m excited to announce the launch of our Institution’s new online presence and invite all of our members to take a look around.

‘The website will maximise the Institution’s usefulness for our members and offer a more streamlined and responsive experience.

‘And I’m confident it will build on the existing knowledge base to become a really effective and valuable resource for CICES.’

Ongoing refinement

Although development was disrupted due to events such as the pandemic, everyone who has worked on the site has remained determined and focussed.

Like any website, this one is a continually evolving work-in-progress and will be refined and added to going forwards.

If there are any content areas you feel could be developed or focused on, please contact us with your suggestions.
